comments: A wise man once said, "Baaaang...oh no, I've hit Veronica." This statement, of course, was shortly followed by, "What are YOU lookin' at?" Now I'm no philosophy major, but I do know that it is great to see so many names that bring back the fondest of memories. Gimme an email, and thanks for the great times.

comments: I attended Camp Frank A Day during the summer of 97, I had travelled there from England not knowing what to expect, On arrival at Boston Airport I met Dick and three other english boys, they also were to be counselors, their names were Gary Roberts from Manchester, James from Leeds, Matt "Bison" from Manchester and once we arrived at came i also met Bryn Lawler from Somerset and Steve from Liverpool. We all got on really well and had probably the summer of our lives. Even though we were there to look after the kids and referee games, every second was fun and the memory's will always be with me. Also after camp Gary, Matt, James and myself went on to travel from Boston to Key West to Clearwater to New York by Train, the longest and funniest journey of my life. If any of the English counselors want to get in touch please email me. Other people i remember: Josh Lieberman, Greg, Sean McCabe, Lee Crasnoo, any many other faces but cannot remeber names, i have photos and the calender/book with all names so i can remember. One thing i do remeber is drinking approximately 12 pints of fresh cold milk a day with that cow on the carton, the English folk couldnt believe that you folkes need a to be encouraged to drink milk. I will keep looking at the website for more names i recognise. bye

comments: What a great trip down memory lane. My brother, Boe, went to last year's reunion. Me, I just lived vicariously through it. I had a long and non-plaque winning career at camp! All those years, never a plaque! Camper in cabins: 21, 22, 25 (that's right, 3 years a Midget), 13, 16, 8A, (that's right 3 years a Junior), and 7A. Was a head-table waiter my last year for Ed P. and Dick M. I think I still have a missing chunk of scalp somehwere on the HQ floor from Al the barber. Have come accross many alum from Camp in Franklin, MA, especailly David Hirshfield and Arthur Leventhal. Did anyone mention Steve Stein, who we all thought would be an Olympic diver some day? (As I recall he was also in 16 for many years.) And what about the crying flag in fromt of the road to the Jr. unit? I think back on FAD many times, and how we all loved it. Never met anyone who doesn;t have great stories and memories. Now, as the great spirit canoe goes floating away....
Hope to hear from fellow campers from the mid 60's.

comments: Glad to find out about this site. Was speaking with Amy (Brackman) Toperoff who lives in my town now and her son & my son are good friends in kindergarden. Has been several years since I last visited Camp Day, but it holds many fond memories for me, both as a camper & counselor. Would love to hear from old campers & counselors alike to catch up on old times. Does anyone know the whereabouts of old counselor friends such as Ben Hower, John Rosenfeld, Bill Dorney, Shannon Dunn or Ted Carroll? Anyway, I was a camper and counselor between 1979 (plaque year with Trinity - "Trinity sucks" said Victor Gobbe all month long)and finishing up in the summer of 1986. Thought about the reunion this weekend but had other plans. Would love to take my children out to visit the camp for a little while, maybe sometime this summer. My oldest is 6 so not quite a Midget but maybe a year or two

comments: It's hard to remember the exact dates that I attended Camp Day. To the best of my memory it started in the mid 40's and ran for eight years. From cabin 25 in the midget unit, run by John Eldert to tent 1 with Bob Kepner and then in a working capacity for a few more years. They were great years with "Doc" Simmons, Ed Poskitt, Reggie Smith, Chef Brown, "Coach", etc. I might be driving in your area this coming Friday ..... July 4th
If I have the time, you just might have a surprise visitor. Hope you all have a great summer and take advantage of that wonderful location. It would be fun to see if all those placques are still in the mess hall. Hope to see you all soon.
